Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza is a comedian and actor born in June 1984. Her witty sense of humor makes her a popular comedian. She is the character April Ludgate on "Parks and Recreation." After performing an improv comedy and sketch comedy show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Plaza made her web television debut in the series "The Jeannie Tate Show." Later, she would perform in Juddah Apatow's "Funny People" and "Scott Pilgrim against. the World" later in her professional career. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter Bernadette Plaza of an attorney and David Plaza of a financial specialist. She was born in Wilmington in Delaware. The father of her is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish as well as English. Plaza has received her education at an all girls Catholic school in 2002, and then the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. As a high-school senior Plaza served as the director of the Wilmington Drama League and a part of the student government. In 2004, as she was in her second year at college, Plaza was struck by a stroke. It resulted in her being diagnosed with expressive aphasia. She also experienced a period of paralysis. Now, she is fully recuperated.
